Location: Hamburg, NY
Twiggy is a sweet girl with a lot of playful puppy energy! She will chase a ball or stick for as long as you’ll throw it and loves running around the yard. She would benefit from a fenced in yard so she can run until her hearts content!
She loves being with her people and would be happy as an only dog but would also be good with a calmer doggy friend. Twiggy is a bit clumsy with her long puppy legs so would do best with older children. She is working hard on her commands and manners. Recall and potty training on a consistent schedule is going well. She is also working on sit and no jumping! She walks well on a leash but does want to chase squirrels! It is unknown how she would interact with cats. She is learning that her crate is her safe place but still needs a little reassurance.
Twiggy is discovering how nice it is to be in a home, cuddling on the couch with her people and will make a wonderful and loving dog companion!

First you will need to submit an application on our website. Once your application is received we distribute to our volunteers to process.
Home Check
This visit is a non dog meeting where a volunteer will meet with you and the members of your household to discuss the adoption process.
Approve Application
Once you have been approved you will need to contact us via email or Facebook to add your name to the list for one of our dogs.
Meet the Pet
Once your name comes up in the order of approved adopters, the foster will contact you to schedule a meeting.
