Theres something about McGhee. Maybe its those big ol eyes that gets to us and tug at our heartstrings or maybe its the the fact that hes a bit shy but warms up quickly and then we see what a lovely boy he is. Hes 5 years old and 48 lbs. He must have had a home once and now hes in a scary shelter. Volunteers have been working with him and have discovered hes a big fan of scratches-booty, chest and ear and gets the most blissful look on his face. Hes friendly to other dogs, just not interested in playing. McGhee also doesnt care about toys or treats. He just wants a home and love. We have many wonderful pets waiting to be adopted! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.

Our shelter is open 7 days a week! Our hours are:
Monday, Wednesday - Friday: 11am - 7pm
Tuesday: 11am - 8pm
Saturday and Sunday: 11am - 6pm
