Luv is a beautiful, quiet cat who is slowly rediscovering comfort and connection. When she first arrived, she preferred to curl up on top of her box, facing the wall, quiet, cautious, and unsure. But with patience, soft words, and a few irresistible treats, she’s begun to show her tender heart.
During her visits, Luv has shown steady progress. She now greets gently, turns to face her visitors, and sometimes even approaches to say hello. A tube of Churu or a few Temptations are her favorite icebreakers, she devours them happily and will sometimes stay close afterward, calmly observing or playing.
Playtime is one of Luvs comfort zones. She enjoys batting at her soft green fish toy, chasing a Cat Dancer between kennel levels, or giving a sleepy swat to a string toy before turning her attention to the window to watch the world go by. She loves a freshly dusted toy and often rubs against it with growing confidence.
While Luv is still learning that hands can bring comfort, not fear, she is making wonderful progress. She has begun to accept a few gentle head pets and now chooses to stay nearby rather than hiding away. When she’s unsure, she lets you know with a soft mew or a careful swat before retreating to her perch for a quiet wash.
Luv will thrive in a calm, patient home where she can set her own pace and continue to build trust. She is not a cat for instant cuddles, but for someone who values slow, meaningful bonds, she’ll reward you with the quiet joy of watching her blossom into her full, affectionate self.
If you believe that love is something worth earning slowly, Luv is ready to meet you! Please visit https://felinerescue.org/all-cats/ to learn more about me and where I am located!

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. All of our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, receive all age-appropriate vaccinations, and high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary. Please visit our website to see up to date open hours.
