Hello, my name is Luv, and I fully believe my name describes exactly what I bring to the table. That said, I don’t give my heart away to just anyone. I’m a one-person kind of gal, and I take the vetting process very seriously.
I like to watch and follow until I’m sure you’re the one for me. But once you’ve earned my trust, get ready for more love, snuggly naps, head bumps, and affection than you know what to do with.
I’m a great communicator and will happily follow you around with little meows to remind you when it’s time for food, play, or cuddles. I’m also very clear about my limits. Hands can be a little scary for me sometimes, especially from someone I don’t know well, so I may give a small growl or a gentle, claw-free swat before scuttling away to say I’m done.
I like to be included in everything and prefer to always be nearby. If you get up from the couch, I’ll follow and chirp at you to make sure you’re okay. As long as I have a paw touching you or a clear line of sight to supervise you, I’m happy.
I’ll greet you at the door when you come home, but don’t worry, I have zero interest in escaping. The outside world seems scary, and I much prefer the safety and love of home. Food is a very close second to my favorite person, and if meals run late, I will politely (and occasionally not-so-politely) remind the chef. I may even relocate items from counters if my hunger persists.
Bedtime is my favorite. Once you’ve passed my vetting process, I’ll curl up behind your head on the pillow, paws on your neck, purring us both to sleep. I don’t like being left out, even in dreams.
I’m hoping for a quiet home where things are calm. I tolerate visitors but take my time warming up and remain a one-person kitty at heart. I do take anxiety medication twice a day, but it’s sprinkled on my wet food, which I LOVE, so I’ve never noticed.
I promise to be deeply devoted, enthusiastically loving, and your constant companion. Once I’m in, I’m all in. From the fluff of my ears to the tip of my tail, my whole heart will be yours. If you’re ready for a little Luv in your life, I’m ready for you. Please visit https://felinerescue.org/all-cats/ to learn more about me and where I am located!

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. All of our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, receive all age-appropriate vaccinations, and high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary. Please visit our website to see up to date open hours.
