My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster wrote: Marge is a dog that is just truly enjoyable to be around. I can't say it more plainly than that! She is fun, energetic, cuddly, smart, and really is a good girl who wants to learn and do the right thing! Going on this adventure together, developing trust, and watching her blossom into the smart, confident, bird watcher (hunter wannabe), that she is has been amazing! She's such a friendly, funny, sweet dog who loves to be loved and shower everyone with that love. She adores her pup cups at the cafe on Saturday mornings, almost as much as her pup cups at her Friday night happy hours. At both, she is the epitome of polite patience, although she will expect some additional bites of pizza or olive oil cake for that patience. She has never gotten aggressive with any dog or loud noise passing by either. When left alone, she may have an accident at first if she's scared, but building up trust with Marge is essential. Once that trust is built, it's there forever and she'll try to never have an accident inside again, even if she has to be alone on the 4th of July! On leash, Marge walks like the supermodel she was born to be. She rarely pulls and will stroll leisurely and stop to smell flowers (or the occasional bag of trash). She does love a road snack though, so being attentive is a must because this gal will scarf down an old piece chicken faster than you can say drop it! Speaking of food, this lady literally jumps for joy at dinner time and it cracks us up everyday. If you work from home, you'll have a new office mate who snores and will randomly bring you socks sometimes. She never chews them, just finds them near the hamper and gently leaves them on your lap or holds them right by you and waits for you to take it. Only socks, nothing else. I call them her offerings. I can go on and on, but in the end, Marge is a quirky, fun, dog and deserves the best quirky, fun, New Yorker to be her forever friend! So come meet Margarina Moss, supermodel of dogs and see for yourself!

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.

I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some canine body language together!
