Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rocky is a handsome blockhead who spent about a year and a half in a home before being surrendered to PACC. He reportedly did well with kids, was house trained and loves toys.
“Rocky is very playful. He’s a big baby who loves toys, likes watermelon and enjoys bacon treats. He loves to jump in water and play with bubbles. He is a good boy who only barks when alerting you to something.”
Rocky also spent time in foster where he was a very quiet houseguest, was crate trained, and loved playing with his plush Lambchop toy. He’s also a fan of chasing tennis balls and was described as food- motivated, friendly, curious and a good napper. He showed that he knows sit and down and was working on the stay command. He loved pets, belly rubs and being close to his people. He enjoyed walks but was a couch potato at home and enjoyed watching doggy YouTube.
“My favorite thing how he brought his plushy with him everywhere. For a big dog, he was so gentle with it almost like it was his support animal. Not destructive AT ALL and such a sweet boy.”
Here’s what volunteers at the shelter have said:
“Rocky is a stinking adorable boy!! His squishy face reminds me of a lion. He can have a pretty stoic demeanor and he was a little head shy when first leashed up. We walked over to a play yard and he wandered around for a little bit and then he came over for snuggles and his goofy, sweet personality came out! He sat at my feet as I pet his neck chin and chest. He just gazed up at me with the doofiest face! He walked around and explored the yard for a little bit and then went and stood in the water trough! I love him!”
“First time meeting Rocky this week. After a few treats, he was wagging his tail with a relaxed body. He did well in the play yard with his kennelmate, mostly relaxing. He enjoyed some petting.”
Rocky would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet Rocky today!!
