Birdie is a sweet girl. We adopted her and her sister from the animal shelter in NM back in 2019 as puppies. She loves to be outside, watching wildlife. She loves to cuddle on the couch with people. She is a total love bug and will bug you for pets. She is a little on the shy side at first, but warms up easily. She is a wonderful part of our family, we also have her sister and one other dog. They all get along great. She has moved with us to multiple states and is the best companion.
My husband and I recently had a baby. As he has grown up, we started having issues. Birdie is not comfortable around him, very nervous and unfortunately growls at him. It completely breaks my heart to give her up, I love her very much but I feel like it is the best thing for her and my family. I cannot trust her around a small child at this point.
There is no other reason to rehome her other than because of my son. My hope is to find her a loving home because that is all she deserves.
