Despite these challenging beginnings, Galileo is now thriving and ready to find his forever home.
Galileo's Story After a few days in our care, we noticed that Galileo seemed to have trouble with his eyesight. A visit to the veterinarian confirmed our suspicions: Galileo is blind. The cause of his blindness remains a mystery, and it may never be determined. Nevertheless, Galileo is a healthy cat full of life and energy.
Special Needs and Requirements Due to his blindness, Galileo requires a special home with an owner who is experienced in caring for cats with similar needs. He is incredibly sweet, loving, and intelligent, and he deserves a home where he can feel safe and comfortable. Although he gets along with other cats, we believe he might thrive best as the only cat in the household. However, we are open to considering different home settings on a case-by-case basis.

Once approved, transport will be arranged with Rescue Riders LLC at the first available date. Adoption fees are to be paid in advance and include the cost of transport.

We are an all volunteer animal welfare organization and foster based rescue located in Cumberland County TN. We work tirelessly to help as many stray, abandoned and injured pets as possible and find them new, loving homes.
Any pet transported out of state to a pre-approved adopter will be transported via Rescue Riders LLC, a leader in professional pet transport.
Our pets are fully vetted and will have a health certificate issued by a vet within two weeks of transport.
Once an application is approved, you will be contacted with the details of transport and pick up time and location.
