Meet Cracklewood. Hi there! My name is Cracklewood, and I am a little over 3 years old. I am so ready to find my own home!
I can be shy when meeting new people, so I would do best with a patient adopter who will go at my pace. The world can still feel a little scary to me. That’s why I’m hoping for a quiet home where I can take things slow and learn that not all people are so bad. With time, patience, and kindness, I will open up. And when I do, you will see just how loyal and loving I can be.
Once I feel safe, my playful side starts to shine. I love toys and have a spunky streak that surprises everyone. I do okay with other dogs, but I am still figuring out how to be a dog.
Fun fact about Cracklewood: she loves strawberry cake with vanilla icing!

Schedule an appointment to come to the shelter and meet the pet.

Take the Pet Home
If everything goes well during the meet-n-greet process you will be able to take home your new pet the same day or arrange a 24hr hold.

Once your application is submitted, feel free to stop by anytime during our normal operating hours.
We do request that if you plan to adopt that you bring a copy of your driver’s license or other government issued ID and vaccination records for your current pets. If you rent, please bring a copy of your lease and the pet policy. We may need additional information but one of our adoption assistants will let you know.
