Velvet is a sleek, glossy black beauty with soft short hair, a long tail, and striking green-gold eyes. She’s under two years old and full of playful energy—always ready to chase, pounce, and show off her athletic side.
Velvet adores head rubs, long pets down her back, and licking Churu straight off your finger. She’s very affectionate once she settles in and prefers the comfort of a real home over being confined to a cage. Her slightly tipped left ear gives her a touch of character—and makes her easy to tell apart from her best friend, Goldie!
Velvet would love to be adopted with her best friend Goldie, but she’d also do just fine joining another friendly cat in a loving home.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.

$250 per Dog (53 weeks or older)
$70 per Cat
$80 per Kitten
$100 Special breed cats, or as determined by our intake leader
Special dog breeds will be determined by our intake leader - likely $300

24 PetWatch Microchip, insertion and registration
Spay/Neuter
