When Pongo "talks back," he's not being aggressive -- he just has a lot to say and loves to tell his story! This big guy can be independent at times, but he also enjoys coming up for love and attention. Pongo just needs someone who will listen to his tales and give him the happy ending he deserves.

The Rangely Animal Shelter works very hard to find homes for all adoptable animals. We require that the adoptive family includes the dog or cat as a highly regarded family member. We do have an adoption contract and there are certain qualifications that can be different with every dog or cat. All animals are spayed or neutered are micro-chipped and have all current vaccinations. We do require a 125.00 donation for adoptions that goes back into our spay and neuter program, and covers the registration for the micro-chip for the animal. This fee does not cover all of the costs but we would rather these animals find forever homes than charging a fee that no one can afford.
