My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jasper is a sweet 15-16 yr old senior guy. The rescue is his third home. His first owner rehomed him at the age of 10 yr old. His second owner surrendered him to us, after a family member developed severe allergies. This guy would love a quiet, low activity home he can retire in. He does enjoy being pet under his chin and on his head around his cute little ears. He also enjoys resting on your chest or in your lap. Chinchillas can live up to 20 years. Jasper has an heart condition, cardiomegaly which is managed very well with medications he takes once day. He is otherwise healthy, and enjoying life, but would love a quiet furever retirement home in which he could enjoy more human attention. His adoption fee is $75. We are a small rescue who cares for all our pets in
foster homes. We do NOT have a facility & all animals
are seen by appointment only, after an application has
been approved.
Dogs' adoption fee includes vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care they may need. For some dogs, the fee may be reduced for reasons that can be made available. Cats' adoption fee include vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care. All are heartworm negative. We require all possible adopters to fill out an adoption application, and to submit themselves to home visits by staff or volunteers, or by local rescues. Vet reference will be required and will be used. Upon adopting, an adoption contract will be signed. Call me or email to start this process.

I got involved with rescue work out of love for animals. I had decided to set up my own rescue. I serve mostly deaf animals because they are first to be put down and are usually deemed untrainable, unadoptable and unlovable. I didn't feel this was right or fair.
