Meet Rosie Kay 🌸 — the girl who’s been waiting so patiently for love
Rosie is a petite 35-lb, 18-month-old Lab/Black Mouth Cur mix with the softest eyes and a heart that just wants to belong. She didn’t get the easy start she deserved—Rosie was dumped along Highway 410 and somehow found her way to safety. Since then, she’s been living at a vet clinic, watching people come and go, hoping that one day someone will walk in just for her.
Rosie is a gentle soul. She’s a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a moment and you’ll see her true self—sweet, affectionate, and eager to trust again. Once she knows she’s safe, her loving personality shines through.
She’s already doing everything right:
House trained
Kennel trained
Quiet and settled in her kennel overnight
Well-mannered and grateful for kindness
Rosie isn’t asking for much—just a warm bed, a patient heart, and a family who will promise to never leave her behind again. She’s the kind of dog who will bond deeply, love fiercely, and remind you every day what resilience and gratitude look like.
She’s waited long enough.
Rosie is ready to go home. 🐾💗

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.
Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.
Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
