My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rosie Kay! 🥰
Rosie is an 18-month-old spayed Labrador/Black Mouth Cur mix who weighs 36 pounds and is ready to find her forever home! This sweet girl can be a little shy at first, but with a bit of patience and reassurance, she quickly blossoms into a sporty, playful companion.

Rosie gets along well with other dogs and has the perfect balance of cuddly and adventurous—happy to snuggle up inside or bask in the sunshine after a fun play session. ☀️

She’s looking for a loving family who will give her the comfort, security, and joy she deserves. With her gentle heart and sunny spirit, Rosie is sure to brighten any home! 💕

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
