Atlas was recently returned to us after struggling to adjust in a busy home with multiple cats and dogs. The stress of that environment became overwhelming for her, leading to some litter box issues and difficulty getting along with the other pets.
Atlas would thrive best in a calm, quiet home - ideally with no other pets or only very laid-back, respectful animals. She's a shy girl at first, but with time, patience, and a gentle approach, her sweet and affectionate personality really begins to shine.
Once she feels safe, Atlas transforms into a total lovebug, enjoying pets and companionship. She just needs a little extra understanding and a peaceful space to truly come out of her shell.
If you're looking to give a second chance to a cat who's ready to love deeply - once she knows she's safe - Atlas may be your perfect match. Primary Color: Grey Tabby Weight: 8.8 Age: 2yrs 7mths 1wks

HSSC places animals on a first come, first serve basis. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, the animal’s name can be put on an application. Animals that are applied for must be adopted the same day or within 24 hours of the animal being placed on the adoption application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals.
It is the potential adopter's responsibility to communicate with their landlord to contact HSSC for approval or to provide documentation stating permission within 24 hours of application submission.
It is also the potential adopter's responsibility to produce a current rabies certificate for their current dog(s) to conduct a dog to dog meet and greet within 24 hours of application submission.
