Meet Homer, a roughly 20 year old, 46.6 pound, male sulcata tortoise. He does have pretty rough pyramiding, but is bright, alert and active. Homer is a super friendly guy and quite curious about his surroundings. He has been with our rescue since October 10 and is super excited to find his forever home!
Since Homer is a very large tortoise, he will need at least a 25'x12' enclosure. Outdoor pens must be secured into the ground at least 12 inches to ensure he will not dig and escape.

Interview
We will reach out and ensure you have the proper set up for the animal so both you and the pet are set up for success.

Sign Adoption Contract
At the time you sign the contract, the adoption fee is due.

Take the Pet Home

All adopters submit an inquiry after finding a pet they are interested in. We will then go through any inquiries and ensure the animal will be going to a suitable home (photo proof of enclosure set up is required). From there, we will be in touch about setting up a time for potential adopters to meet the animal. Adopters will then sign an adoption contract, pay the adoption fee, and take the pet home.
