This lovable guy gets along beautifully with **kids, cats, dogs, and people of all ages**. He’s gentle with treats, respects baby gates, and rides like a dream in the car.
While Zeek loves a good cuddle in the “big chair” or curling up quietly at the foot of your bed, he’s not overly clingy—he just likes to know where his people are. He’s sweet, smart, and full of energy, making him a perfect match for an **active household** (think: hiking buddy or long-distance running partner!).

* House & crate trained ✅
* Friendly with kids, cats, dogs, and strangers ✅
* No resource guarding; gentle with treats ✅
* Travels calmly in the car ✅
* Respectful of baby gates ✅
* Not a Velcro dog—independent but affectionate ✅
🚧 Still a Work in Progress:
* Pulls on leash like a freight train 🚂 (training in progress!)
* Might help himself to counter snacks 🍽️ (those Polish sausages didn’t stand a chance)
* Tried to mark indoors early on but easily corrected
* Will run if off-leash – needs secure fencing or leash walks
Ideal Home:
Zeek would thrive with an **active family** who enjoys the outdoors and is committed to ongoing training. He has a big heart, a goofy spirit, and so much love to give. His foster says he’s been an absolute **joy to have around**.
