PLAYFUL & ACTIVE!
DAKOTA - 7 years old, 50 pounds, house trained, playful, good with cats and older kids, no dogs.
Dakota was surrendered when her owner was moving and couldn't take her with them.
She is described as loving, constantly seeking your attention, cuddly, and playful.
She loves zoomies and runs super duper fast but might stop on a dime for a treat! Silly girl!
Oh yeah - and she has a huge smile on her face the whole time!
Dakota can be a bit nervous of new environments, people, and animals. Slow and proper introductions are key with setting this girl up for success.
Dakota was able to free roam in her home all day long, leaving the crate open for her to go in and out as she pleases. She was able to sleep wherever she wanted in the home as well.
She's afraid of loud engine noises driving past her and may need some reassurance on walks near main roads.
Dakota is currently in a back kennel so come in and just ask to meet her!
PREVIOUS BIO-
DAKOTA - 1 year old, 50+ pounds, friendly, active, playful, pulls on leash, only pet.
Dakota ended up behind bars after she and her canine sister got into a fight. Dakota clearly the winner of the fight is now looking for a new home with no other animals. She is fun! She is friendly to all humans! (When it comes to children, supervision and chaperoning is vital when children and pets are together!) She loves to run, she loves to play. She’s a great girl who will be your constant sidekick. Dakota seems housetrained. She’s smart! And she loves going for walks and being outside expending that energy! This baby is still a baby barely a year old. She is going to need lots of daily exercise and training. We want to keep that mind busy just as much as that body!
Let’s make sure Dakota gets all the attention! Call Va Beach Animal Care and adoption center at 385–4444 or go to our Facebook page to make an appointment to meet her.
