Meet Truman!
Truman is a fun-loving, affectionate boy who knows how to balance playtime and cuddle time perfectly. He loves going on walks, running around outside, and would be thrilled to have a fenced-in yard where he can stretch his legs and play.
Toys are one of Truman’s greatest joys, but cuddling is at the very top of his favorites list. Despite his size, Truman is a true large lap dog who loves nothing more than curling up with his people during TV time and at bedtime.
Sweet, playful, and full of love, Truman is an amazing boy who’s ready to find his forever family — one that will love him just as deeply as he loves them.

Training: Housetrained, crate-trained
Vetting: neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention

To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.
We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.
