My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sweet Pea – The Golden-Hearted Senior
Sweet Pea’s story will melt your heart. Her first loving owner passed away, and though she later found another wonderful home, a sudden housing emergency brought her back to our rescue — through absolutely no fault of her own.
Now, this gorgeous tortie lady is dreaming of a forever home where she can finally relax and be cherished for the rest of her days.
At her age, Sweet Pea knows what truly matters — cozy blankets, gentle pets, soft voices, and the warmth of good company. She’s been on a special diet, has lost some weight, and is feeling lighter and healthier than ever.
Her adoption fee has been fully sponsored, so all she needs is someone with a kind heart who believes senior cats deserve a second chance too.
If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who’s already perfected the art of love and loyalty, Sweet Pea is your girl.

More about this rescue

Carbon Cat Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Carbon County, Utah. We rely heavily on donations and our community to care for the cats.

All of our cats live in foster homes until they have been fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Once they are ready, we put them up for adoption to find their fur-ever homes!
