My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Steve
Steve's story is one of heartbreak and hope. He was found abandoned along the “Kitty Trail” in Piqua, Ohio — a 7-mile winding bike path through the woods that has sadly become a dumping ground for unwanted cats. One day, someone drove him there, left him behind, and drove away.

At first, Steve waited faithfully where he was left, hoping his family would come back for him. But when they didn’t, he had no choice but to retreat into the woods, learning to survive on his own. Each day, he would emerge when volunteers arrived to feed the abandoned cats, following them to their cars, quietly begging for what he once had — a home, a warm bed, and love.

Steve is a very sweet, gentle tabby boy, about a year old. Despite what he’s been through, he still believes in people. He melts under gentle pets, loves attention, and will purr his heart out when he feels safe. He’s ready for his happily-ever-after — a forever home where he’ll never be left behind again.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s been through the woods and back (literally!) and still has endless love to give, Steve is your boy.

More about this rescue

We are a small rescue group that saves abandoned kittens and cats off of the streets, vets them and work to find them a happy safe next chapter. We are also hitting the overpopulation problem with hitting it at its core with TNR.
