Meet Samantha 🧡
Sweet little Samantha’s story begins on the “Kitty Trail” in Piqua, Ohio — a 7-mile winding path through the woods that has tragically become a place where unwanted cats and kittens are abandoned. Someone drove her there and left her all alone.

At just 5 months old, this thin, fragile orange tabby sat waiting where she was left, hoping her family would come back. When they didn’t, she retreated into the woods, frightened and unsure, sleeping with one eye open and relying on the kindness of volunteers who come twice a day to feed the abandoned cats. Each time they arrived, Samantha would come running, following them to their cars, pleading with her eyes for a chance to go home again.

Despite everything she’s endured, Samantha’s gentle spirit shines through. She’s loving, trusting, and so grateful for affection. She melts when held and purrs as if to say thank you for not giving up on her.

Samantha deserves a safe, indoor-only forever home — one where she’ll never have to wonder if she’s loved again. After surviving the Kitty Trail, she’s ready for her happy ending: a family of her own and a warm bed to call hers forever.
