Meet Thomas
Thomas’s story begins on the “Kitty Trail” in Piqua, Ohio — a 7-mile winding path through the woods that has sadly become a place where people abandon their cats, driving away and leaving them behind to fend for themselves.

At just 6 months old, Thomas was one of those left behind. For days, he sat where he was abandoned, waiting faithfully for the car to return. When no one came, he retreated into the woods — a scared, hungry little tabby trying to survive. Volunteers who feed the abandoned cats twice a day would find him waiting, following them to their cars, quietly begging for a chance to go home again.

Through it all, Thomas never lost his sweet, trusting nature. He’s a gentle boy who loves attention, melts under gentle pets, and purrs with gratitude when he feels safe. Despite his rough start, he still believes in love.

Thomas deserves a second chance — a safe, indoor-only home where he’ll never be left behind again. He’s ready to trade the cold ground of the trail for a warm bed, soft blankets, and a family who will love him forever.
