If ever there was a dog who deserves his “happily ever after,” it’s Clifford. ❤️

This sweet, goofy red pup has been through more heartbreak than any dog should. We first met Clifford when he was just 6 months old. His owner was experiencing homelessness but was doing everything possible to care for him. When Clifford was picked up as a stray, we were able to reunite them — a joyful moment for everyone.

Sadly, life had other plans. A few months later, his owner faced new challenges and had to surrender Clifford to us. It took nearly three months, but we finally found him the perfect home. Clifford and his new owner were inseparable — best friends from day one. 💕

Then came another twist of fate. Clifford’s beloved owner had to move into assisted living, and the facility’s weight restrictions meant Clifford couldn’t come along. Once again, this loving boy found himself back at the shelter, confused but still wagging his tail and ready to love again.

Now about a year and a half old, Clifford is a happy, affectionate, loyal dog who just wants a family to stick by him — forever this time. He’s friendly, playful, and has a big heart (and an even bigger smile). 🐶
