Meet Kevin!
Kevin is a 4 month-old Terrier mix (born around June 4) with a heart full of love and the sweetest, most gentle spirit. He’ll likely grow to be a smaller medium-sized dog (around 25–30 lbs as an adult) — the perfect size for both couch cuddles and outdoor adventures.
Kevin is a tender, affectionate pup who adores being close to his people. He loves curling up in a cozy blanket, snuggling with family members, and finding his favorite little spots to rest. Though still a bit shy, Kevin’s confidence is growing every day, especially with the help of his foster brothers — two Labs who have become his best friends. He enjoys playing tag with them in the yard, sharing sticks, and occasionally sneaking in a nap by their side.
Despite a rough start in life, Kevin’s love and trust in people shine through. He’s doing wonderfully with potty training (just being watched closely since he’s still new) and will go into his crate willingly, though he prefers to be out and near his family.
Kevin is truly a special little boy — gentle, loving, and loyal — who will make a wonderful companion for a patient, caring family ready to give him the happy life he deserves.

The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
