What is Rehome?

I am fostering Robert as his owner (my friend) had to go to memory care. He was a very beat up street cat in Miami until he was rescued by my friend, he lived with her for 5 yrs. I would love to continue caring for him, but my job requires a lot of travel. Robert is very social, he needs the time and attention he deserves.
Robert is about 13 years old and as such, he has certain old man qualities. He has arthritis which requires a monthly shot. He is a total lap magnet. I bring him into the office from time to time and he will happily post up with anyone. He likes aggressive petting including belly rubs.
He currently lives with a dog and they get on swimmingly, he previously lived with a Shepard so dogs are not an issue.
He is FIV+ so other cats in the home are not ideal. They seem to always bully him. He has no teeth so it’s hard for him to transfer FIV+ anyway. He needs wet food. He comes with all the accessories, self-cleaning litterbox, scratch pads, stairs. He is a very good boy!
