BIO: Hello, I’m Maxine. I am a quiet girl with a very sweet disposition, but I’m very, very shy and need lots of time to become comfortable. I love to be pet and scratched, especially when I’m eating or right before you feed me. I like being able to find safe places to watch you, and I would be a sweet and gentle addition to any quiet adult household. Are you the patient person I have been waiting for? Please give me the chance I deserve on a loving family!
RESCUE: I was abandoned at a terrible and unsafe home. I was lucky enough to be taken in by ARC and cared for. My jaw had been broken previously, it has healed, although crooked, I can still eat and appreciate attention from gentle, patient hands.

Primarily serving Bulverde, Comal County, and Northern San Antonio, ARC is an all-foster based organization with volunteers who are passionate about our adoption, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and helpline programs.
