Meet Misty! – How does the song go? – “…Don’t you know how hopelessly I’m lost, that’s why I am following you...”
Misty is a Border Collie/Collie mix born on May 16, 2025. As of October 10, she weighed 19 lb and is still a bit on the thin side, so she is one of the larger pups in this litter. Misty is sensitive, intelligent, and very loving. She is the kind of dog who wants to be close to her people at all times.
A little more about Misty:
• Good with other dogs and is beginning to play with the foster’s dogs.
• A quiet home would be ideal. She is very afraid of loud noises. She will run to the door if outside, or to her person if inside when loud noises occur.
• Potty training is going well. She goes to the door but has a schedule she goes by.
• She is not fond of being crated. This will need patient training if crating is a necessary part of your dog’s day (or night).
• She is not fond of the collar and leash; this will take patience and training.
When considering adopting this adorable pup, please research her parents’ breed characteristics. As for any puppy, she will need someone who is committed to her training and satisfying her energy needs to help her become the perfect adult dog.
Misty is presently being fostered in Veneta Oregon. She is up to date on her vaccinations and has been wormed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400.
