Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ozzy is a sweet, beautiful 5 month old kitten. Look at his gorgeous fur and piercing green eyes! He has streaks of silver gray through his brown tabby coat. If I had to pick one word to describe Ozzy's personality, it would be "Survivor". He was rescued the day Ozzy Osbourne died, hence his name.
Ozzy was born to a feral mom and rescued as a 8 week old kitten. At 9 weeks Ozzy fell ill and was rushed to the emergency room in the middle of the night. The veterinarian gave me the Bad News "it was Parvo and he would need to be put down". The veterinarian had the 3 syringes ready to administer the fatal dose. I stopped her. Instead I took him home started antibiotic treatment. Me and a friend force fed and hydrated him by syringe for 10 days around the clock to help him regain his strength. Ozzy has shown incredible resilience and a strong will to survive and miraculously is thriving despite the hardships he faced early in life. Ozzy is in perfect health, is neutered, has all his shots, and is micro chipped.
Ozzy is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves being part of whatever is happening around him. He is a very social, and an extremely playful kitten. Playful and fun. Ozzy is at heart a lap cat. He is a complete sweetheart. Ozzy is quite the character and is always entertaining just like his namesake.
Ozzy loves to play with feathered wand toys and be with his favorite people, however he is quite capable of playing all by himself. When he is done playing, he’s the first to curl up next to you for a cozy snuggle, as he drifts off to sleep purring contentedly. He's affectionate, likes to be held and loved on and purrs easily. Ozzy loves being near his humans, while exploring new spaces. He absolutely loves his multistory condo.
Ozzy is very gentle, extremely intelligent and always curious. Ozzy never misses the litter box and does not spray or mark territory. He wants nothing more than to be an indoor only cat, he is done with the outdoors. He really likes the indoor life and he cannot wait for the right person to fall in love with him. Ozzy will make someone a great companion. If you specifically love affectionate cats, this boy is for you. Ozzy is ready for adoption and looking for someone to love him and accept him into their home and family, will that be you?

More about this rescue
We help strays and free-roaming cats live better lives by facilitating spay and neuter and vaccinations. Animal not suitable for living in the wild will be homed through our adoption program. Cat Network of Stanislaus is a 501(c)3 approved animal advocacy group. We primarily focus on feral and stray cats and serve our community so that they best can help these animals. Some cats that were found on the street end up becoming great pets. That is when they make it to this site. We take pride in the fact that we consider every animal worthy of rescuing regardless of age and medical needs. Some of our cats are special needs.
