Betty is a hound/shepherd mix dog who was brought to our shelter after her previous owner could no longer care for her. She is a sweet and friendly girl who loves being near her favorite humans and spending time on the couch together watching TV. She gets along with other dogs, but is most certainly not a fan of cats! We recommend bringing family members such as children to meet with Betty before taking her home! Her date of birth is 8/23/2023 and she currently weighs around 48lbs.
Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.
