Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*Courtesy Post. Mama is not under the care of Liberation Cat House.*
Meet Mama, a gentle and resilient senior kitty who is looking for her forever home. Mama was rescued after suffering from a severe mouth infection, and despite all she has been through, she is the sweetest spirit and loves nothing more than being brushed and lounging in cozy spots.
Mama is spayed, up to date on vaccines (including rabies), and was part of a TNR program. She has partial blindness in her right eye due to an old infection, but she navigates her world beautifully and enjoys her independence. Recently, Mama has been prescribed monthly antibiotics to support her dental health, and she has a vet care in place. We are happy to cover her upcoming dental care expenses to ensure a smooth transition into adoption.
Mama would do best in a calm, patient household where she can be gently introduced to other cats if needed. She thrives on affection, loves being pampered with a brush, and is otherwise very low-maintenance.
She is a special girl who has endured so much and is now ready to be cherished for the rest of her life.

More about this rescue
We are a non-profit organization that exists to save the lives of at-risk cats and kittens in the Central Florida area. This is primarily done through fostering those that are sick and/or medically needy until they are healthy and old enough to be placed in a forever home.
We believe that saving more lives can be accomplished through educating others on the importance of spaying and neutering as well as through safe and effective trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNvR) practices.
We live by the conviction that compassion for animals applies to all species, not just cats.
