Meet Artie! A purebred Chinese Crested Powderpuff
Artie was surrendered to Rico Pet Recovery when his owner realized she couldnt give him everything he needed. She wanted him to have the happy, full life he truly deserves.
When Artie arrived, he was severely matted and covered in fleas but thanks to the kindness of a local groomer at Barking Dogs, Wagging Tails, he was transformed into a whole new dog!
Artie is a year old and still learning about the world. Hes a bit anxious and under-socialized from his past, but every day hes gaining confidence. He does well with other dogs and cats, and hes learning potty training, leash walking, and kennel manners.
This sweet boy just needs a patient person and a cozy lap to call his own. With love, structure, and time, Artie will blossom into the happy, confident companion hes meant to be.
A fenced yard is preferred, as he can be a bit of a flight risk while he continues building trust. Artie has been neutered.
Artie is ready for his second chance could it be you??
The adoption fee for Artie is $250. The fee includes the neuter, microchip and two sets of shots at our partner veterinarian. We have his pedigree papers.
