Born June 12, 2025, this little guy has already survived the unthinkable. He was cruelly thrown from a moving car onto a busy expressway - left with a broken femur and helpless in the middle of heavy traffic. By some miracle, he was scooped up and rushed to safety before it was too late.
His tiny body had suffered a fractured femur, and he endured not one but two surgeries to recover. Through every bit of pain, he proved just how strong and gentle his spirit is.
Today, he’s healed, thriving, and ready for a brighter future. He’s a playful, affectionate kitten who gets along wonderfully with other cats and even lives peacefully with dogs in his foster home. After everything he’s endured, he deserves a family who will never let him know fear or abandonment again - only love, safety, and forever.
Crash is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
