Ethel is one of the four “I Love Lucy” kittens—and the only girl of the bunch! She started off as the tiniest runt, arriving at just half the size of her siblings, but she’s quickly catching up and showing off her big personality.
This sweet tabby loves climbing up to perches where she can watch everything that’s going on. She’s playful, curious, and has a loving side that shines once she feels comfortable.
Ethel would love to be adopted with one of her siblings for double the fun, but she’d also do well in a home with another young, playful kitty.
If you’re looking for a spunky, affectionate little girl with a big heart, Ethel is your match!
Ethel is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
