Meet Happy – The Little Dog with the Biggest Smile!

Two-year-old Happy lives up to his name every single day! This adorable blond Shih Tzu has a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. He was born with a congenital malformation in his back legs (they’re straight instead of bent), but don’t tell him that—he has no idea he’s any different! Happy runs, plays, and zooms around just like any other pup. There’s truly no slowing him down.

Happy loves everyone he meets and hands out kisses freely. He’s always smiling, always ready to play, and his cheerful energy is absolutely contagious. He enjoys playing with toys and would thrive in a home with another friendly dog around his size to romp and relax with.

Because he’s a spirited little guy with “selective hearing” when it comes to recall, a secure fenced yard is a must for his safety.

If you’re looking for a loyal, joyful, one-of-a-kind companion who’ll fill your life with laughter and love, Happy is waiting with a grin and a wagging tail.

You will meet the pet at our thrift store and adoption center in Blue Ridge, GA. We also have adoption events every Sat. (Weather Permitting)

We are a new Rescue to North Georgia but we have been volunteering with a rescue group for 10 years. We are huge animal lovers and enjoy helping animals in need. There is a special satisfaction in saving a dog from a kill shelter and adopting it into the perfect home.
