Meet Lincoln – The Loyal Aussie Looking for His Person

Lincoln is a 4.5-year-old, 40 LB Australian Shepherd with a stunning tricolor coat and a heart full of love! True to his breed, Lincoln is smart, loyal, and eager to bond deeply with his people. He’s looking for an experienced home that understands herding breeds and can give him the structure, guidance, and activity he thrives on.

Lincoln is an active boy who loves to play with other dogs and would enjoy a home that can match his energy and enthusiasm for life. He’s happiest when he has a job to do, space to run, and plenty of time with his people. A rural or suburban home with a yard would be ideal for him.

He will do best in a home without cats and very young children. With firm boundaries, continued training, and an active lifestyle, Lincoln will be an incredibly devoted and rewarding companion.

If you’re looking for a loyal partner who will stick by your side through every adventure, Lincoln might just be your perfect match!

Lincoln is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

Interested in adopting one of our rescue dogs? Here are the steps to a successful adoption:

1) Review the dog's picture and bio;

2) Fill out an Adoption Application

3) We will screen your application* and call you to tell you more about the dog,

4) A Meet and Greet will be set up. All members of your household (dogs and humans) must attend the meet and greet;

5) If you are approved for adoption, pay the adoption fee, sign the adoption contract and receive the dog's health records;

6) Love and adore your new dog!

Our organization - Forever Home Dog Rescue - values your privacy. Any and all application information is private and will not be shared outside of our organization with ANY other party. After a decision is made on a dog, all applicant and adopter personal information will be disposed of by shredding. We do not retain any application information past adoption in an effort to preserve the security and privacy of applicants. Vaccination, microchip and medical records of adopted and current dogs can be accessed under the dogs name and month of adoption.

Forever Home Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We receive dogs from owner surrenders and overcrowded shelters. All of the dogs are housed in private, loving foster homes or a kennel in the greater Seattle area. We assess their behaviors and health and help them relax during their transition to a forever home. The dogs remain in foster care or in our kenneling facility until they are adopted. All of the dogs are/or will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and are current on routine vaccinations.

Forever home dog rescue is not a shelter and thus you cannot see the dogs without an appointment.

We need foster homes! Thinking about adopting a dog, but not sure yet about which breed or if you're ready for the long-term commitment? Consider becoming a foster parent. A foster dog placement can be anywhere from two weeks to several months. We provide any dog supplies you may need and cover all necessary medical costs for your foster dog. You provide the love and attention and bring the dogs to adoption events at least twice per month.
