Meet Felix | Apply Here | Videos
Felix was rescued last year - almost a year ago to date - when our team in Korea shut down an illegal puppy mill and two slaughterhouses in Busan alongside Lucy’s Law. We thought we had seen it all… neglect and so much cruelty. But when we found Felix in a cage at one of the slaughterhouses, still wearing his harness, our hearts shattered. Typically, only house pet dogs have harnesses. This boy was abandoned by his owner at a slaughterhouse.
As soon as our team opened his cage and leashed him up, he came out with his tail high and wagging, as if he was just going on a normal walk adventure. The incredible trust and innocence he holds is the most incredible thing.
Now that he’s had some training and time to recoup at our center in Bundang, sweet Felix has made his freedom flight to NYC. He’s really enjoying being the center of his foster’s world both inside and out. He’s a perfect gentleman on the leash and a super goofy guy around the house. Felix does need a little guidance on enjoying his private time in his crate, but in all other aspects he is basically perfect.
