Meet Percy! He’s about two years old, incredibly smart, and undeniably handsome. Percy was found at Fresno Community Hospital in late September 2025, where he was sweetly begging for snacks. His foster mom brought him home, and he’s been thriving ever since.
Percy enjoys life with his foster dad, foster brother, and five older furry foster siblings. He loves playing tag and going for swims. He’s completely house-trained and knows several basic commands, including sit, off, come, yes, and no. He has never had an accident in the house.
One of Percy’s favorite pastimes is lounging on the couch with his foster brother, watching Bluey. At night, he sleeps comfortably in his crate in his foster parents’ bedroom with his bed and blankets. His crate is his safe place, and he can be a little possessive of the items in it because he likes to take care of his things.
Percy is not a barker, is a little nervous about hallways, and is very protective of his entire foster family, both furry and human.
His ideal forever home would be one where he has a doggy fiend with the same playful energy or as the only dog in the home & with older kids he can protect and play with. Percy would thrive with a kind but firm parent (or parents) who understands him and all the wonderful qualities he brings.
Percy is a very good boy, and he’s ready to find a forever family who will appreciate him just as much as he’ll appreciate them. Percy is now at the Fresno Bully Rescue facility to meet!

More about this rescue
Fresno Bully Rescue (FBR) is a volunteer-based, non-profit, no-kill rescue and shelter dedicated to rescuing bully breed dogs (i.e. American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bull Dogs, Bull Terriers, etc.). We are here to provide a healthy and loving temporary home while we look for forever homes for our shelter dogs. We are one of the only breed-specific, no-kill rescues with an actual kennel-facility in California. We house over 45 adult dogs at our facility (with many more puppies and adults in foster homes). Our pet adoption program and support is tailored to help find you the best match for your family and start it off right! We are a 501 (c) (3) public charity and all donations are tax deductible.
