My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cookie is a very nice cat that would be happy being the queen of the castle and not sharing her home with other kitties or pups except for her son Chip who is also available for adoption. She has exibited some fear of dogs, and lots of hissing around the resident cats at her foster home. If looking for a part independent, part loving girl, Cookie may be the purrrrrfect fit for your family!

More about this rescue

We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.
