My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Michael, a calm and gentle boy who’s looking for a peaceful place to call home after his previous owner could no longer care for him.

Michael is the definition of sweet and easygoing. He enjoys soft pets, cozy nap spots, and the simple comfort of being near someone kind. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and would be the perfect companion for a quiet home where everyone appreciates a relaxed, loving presence.

This tender soul has been through a big change, but his heart is still full of love — he just needs a patient, caring family to help him feel settled again. With time and gentle reassurance, Michael will reward you with soft purrs, warm companionship, and the peaceful joy only a content cat can bring.

If you're searching for a loving, mellow friend with a heart of gold, Michael is ready to curl up and become part of your world. 🧡🐾Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is based on making the right match. Though people can apply for a specific animal, we would like to know more about lifestyle and match a pet with that lifestyle. For example, we would not want to match an active dog with an inactive one. Therefore, our primary concern is the interview process and getting to know the potential adopter.
