**Note: Currently, Wanjoo is in Korea but will fly to Vancouver on Nov 7 once she is adopted.

Background
Wanjoo, Greyhound mix, was rescued this summer from a city pound in Wanju, where she spent a year and a half chained in a small, dirty cell. Today, she is safe at our partner boarding house, living with other dogs and patiently waiting for her forever family.

Personality & Socialization
Wanjoo is a gentle, calm, and affectionate girl. She has medium–low energy—happy to go for a nice walk but just as content to curl up beside you. She absolutely loves people and is happiest when she can be close, soaking up snuggles and pets.

With other dogs, Wanjoo gets along well with both small and large dogs, as long as they are gentle and friendly. But without question, her favorite place is always by her human’s side.

Behaviour
Wanjoo is an easygoing, well-mannered dog. She walks nicely on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and cooperates well during vet visits. She is quiet indoors and enjoys outdoor potty breaks. Above all, she thrives on being close to her people and included in their daily life.

Health & Diet
Wanjoo is spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on her vaccinations. She is dewormed, on monthly parasite prevention, and eats dry kibble twice a day. She is healthy and ready for her forever home.

Ideal Home
Wanjoo would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time—perhaps someone retired or working from home—who can include her in their daily routine. She would be the perfect match for a family looking for a calm, loyal, and snuggly companion to share their life with.

Whoever welcomes Wanjoo into their heart will be very lucky—she has so much love to give.
