A cat that looooooves belly rubs is impossible, you say? I am here to prove you wrong. My name is Chef Boyardee and I am a 6-month-old, super handsome, very sweet, belly-rub loving boy who just wants to be your best friend. Need I say more?
I guess my people are telling me I actually do have to say more, so here I am again. I came from a hoarder house where my sister, Rice-A-Roni, and I were not very well taken care of. Luckily the nice people here at the rescue swooped in and scooped us up and boy oh boy do we know what life is supposed to be like now! I love all cats, I tolerate dogs, and I would be great with kids.
I can be communicative and chatty when I want to be, but overall I’m pretty low-key. I love to cuddle and will do anything for a belly rub. It’s not even a trap, I swear. I love to play, especially with crinkle balls and things I can bat around. I would do best with another kitty in my home, and if you are interested in a pair, check out my foster sibling Slap Chop's bio!
All in all I am a super sweet, affectionate, well-rounded guy!
Chef Boyardee is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please submit an application here: https://airtable.com/apph147Ocb1OqwMU3/shrASIF0R2OtkjxWD

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
