I took in a stray, young, neutered male ginger cat. Very friendly and snuggly when we picked him up. He has been well-cared for by someone, as when we found him his claws were short, his ears were clean, and his coat was shiny with no fleas. I had him tested for FIV, feline leukemia, rabies, heartworm, and all the other worms, and he is negative. He did have an infection from a cat bite, so we treated that. He is not street smart, but is litter box trained and not destructive in the house. He went back for a recheck and the infection had resolved, so now he has been vaccinated for rabies, feline leukemia and FVRCP. He is not microchipped. He weighs about 10 pounds. I have looked at several lost cat Facebook pages and other websites, and it does not seem that anyone has reported him as missing. I am in the process of moving out of state, and cannot take him with me, as my new landlord is allergic to cats. Please give this special affectionate boy a good INSIDE home.
