My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Sweet Squeakers!

I arrived during the state fair and was named after one of the new treats served there—fitting, because I'm as sweet as they come and love to squeak! I'm the most talkative of my siblings and will let you know when I need something… especially food. I’m very curious and love exploring new things, and I’ve recently discovered that yogurt is delicious.

I'm a striking little tabby with golden-brown fur, lots of cool spots, and black feet—my foster mom even calls me her “golden girl.” My favorite activities include zooming through my cat tunnel, catching feather toys, wrestling with my brothers, and playing chase with the other cats in my foster home.

After I'm done being a playful whirlwind, I turn into the sweetest snugglebug. I adore being held, purr like a motor, and always stay close to my person. At bedtime, I'll follow you under the covers to snuggle up for the night.

I can’t wait to bring my mix of playful energy and cozy cuddles to my forever home!

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Sweet Squeakers will need to be adopted with one of their siblings (Fawaffle and Shrimp Toast).

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250. For a pair, the adoption fee is $500.

Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
