My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Don't be fooled by Pluma's age — she deserves to spend the rest of her life in a loving home just as much as any young pup out there! When we asked our Kennel Techs what notes they had on her, they said she is "such a lovebug, literally a perfect angel." She has amazing leash-manners and is loved by everyone who meets her!

Pluma first came to PAWS in August of 2017 and was adopted within days of being here. However, in October of 2025, we received a call that she had been surrendered to our local county intake facility by her owners for unknown reasons. Immediately we arranged to get her back, but she has had little to no interest since being here. Why? We still aren't sure. She is great with other dogs, does well with cats, and although we haven't seen her with kids yet, we think she would do just fine.

This sweet senior is eligible for adoption and foster!
