My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A best friend like no other!

I am a sweet, contemplative boy! From hiking to staying cozy inside, I’m in, as long as you’re with me. I love to work, be challenged and do tricks, snacks are my favorite part of the day (especially dog-safe peanut butter)! I’m a great listener and love to learn words and make you laugh.

I’m an independent boy, but welcome morning cuddles and pets. Tug of war is my favorite game, see if you can beat me! I need a family that is active and goes on adventures. I'd do best in a home with no children, and no cats.

General Socialization Notes:
I am a bit uncomfortable being approached by new people on leash, in the car, in home, etc. Warming up to new people ( especially men) can be a challenge for me. I need to go at my own pace to feel comfortable.

Does Finn like other animals?
I like some other dogs, but not cats. But I may do best as an only dog.

Does Finn like children?
I would prefer a home with no children.

Favorite Toys:
I love chew bones (big chewer!) (must be very durable.) I also enjoy tug of war toys.

Ideal Forever Home:
I'd love someone active who goes to new places. I love to explore! I would need someone that has experience with dogs and will respect my space and give me time.
A home with no cats and no children would be best. I'd probably prefer no other dogs.
