Monkey and I need help. I rescued Monkey 8 months ago. She was 5 days away from euthanasia in a high kill CA shelter. I used to operate a 501c3 animal rescue organization over a decade ago. Sometimes, I will still rescue a dog on occasion. When I do this, it is over the late spring/early summer so that I'll have time to find the animal a home before I become unwell again in the winter. Monkey is the 1st dog I've rescued who I've had this long! I do an immense amount of work with all of my fosters but, right now, I need help. Monkey needs help. I have been struggling to keep up with Monkey's physical needs and training. I am looking for help while I continue to seek a safe and loving home for her; preferably a rat terrier/min pin knowledgeable person a/o someone who has helped a leash reactive dog to succeed in the past (she is doing better!).
