Say hello to SPARKLES! Sparkles is a short-haired purr-fest of a teenager male black panther. Seriously, this guy will make you feel like the most important person in the world! Sparkles purrs simply by looking in your direction when anticipating pets, food, treats or, most importantly, play time! Unstoppable Sparkles can go all-out playing with his brother PEPPER and foster siblings, like someone doing a parkour course! According to Sparkles, if it moves, it must be a playmate or toy. At first meeting, Sparkles appreciates a calm moment to assess your energy. He can be a bit hesitant around high energy children and adults who are very tall, but otherwise tends to adapt fairly quickly. Sparkles is such a positive cat that once he trusts you, he will purr for miles! Talk about rock star treatment. Sparkles would love to go to his forever home with his brother PEPPER, or another playful young cat who can keep up! As long as there's someone for him to play and frolic with, Sparkles will be delightfully and endlessly entertained.
SPARKLES has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. You can meet SPARKLES at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in South Eugene (2858 Willamette St) starting on 11/15/2025. Please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store, and an adoption counselor will contact you to set up a meet and greet. The $155 adoption fee ($280 if adopted with Pepper) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
