I didn’t look that bad for being out on my own, so when I arrived at the shelter I hoped my person would come and collect me, but no one did. Now I am in rescue and looking for my new home that would never let me wander. I’m an active little girl, that is still learning to trust. I get along with everyone at rescue. I’m working on my potty training and we think I'm a little slow because I could have lived outside. I want to learn, especially when I get a treat! I know I can be someone's good girl.

Adopters complete an application, references are given including a vet reference. Home visits are performed along with trial adoptions of up to a week. Adopters are required to sign a contract that is sent through the mail.

Act2Pups is a 501(c)3 non-profit group. Act2Pups gives senior dogs that have been given up a second chance. Seniors are so easy to take care of. We provide a home environment for all of our senior pups. We are a small group that dedicates all of our rescue efforts to helping senior pets. We give them a thorough veterinary check up to include complete blood work and a dental at the minimum. We spay and neuter always. All of our senior pups are heart worm tested and are started on heart worm preventative.
