She has grown up with our two boys (now 13 and 11), and they’ve been her best friends. She absolutely loves kids and is very gentle and loyal with them. That said, she would also thrive in an adult-only home where she can soak up all the attention and enjoy a quieter environment. She’s a true companion dog who wants to be right by your side and struggles with separation anxiety when left alone for too long.
-Temperament: Loving, loyal, great with kids (but doesn’t require them)
-Health: Sensitive skin but otherwise healthy
-Personality: Protective of her people and home
-Other Pets: Needs to be the only animal in the home, after 2 years, she hasn’t accepted our yellow lab
-Around Other Dogs: Reactive in public, but does great at doggy daycare
-Vet Visits: Gets anxious, we give her Trazodone before vet visits/nail trims
-Activity Level: Enjoys hiking and outdoor time, she sticks close and doesn’t run off
